In past years The UNH CAD Labs in Durham have been recognized by Autodesk for excellence in the following specialties:
A CAD Training Center since 1989, the Center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in order meet the demands of business and industry and to accomodate the use of AutoCAD other Autodesk Titles (Windows XP).
The training lab is dedicated to development of applications skills in CAD, GIS/mapping, engineering and architectural applications, and multimedia. It provides training of the highest quality for practicing and prospective professional CAD users. All participants receive a certificate attesting to their completion of courses, and all courses currently use AutoCAD Release 2007 unless specified otherwise.

Part of your learning the a CAD application is by actually practicing many of the exercises provided in the training manuals outside of class time. One additional benefit that we offer to our training clients is the ability to access our facilities on a 24-hour basis, so that you can come in and work with the software on your own time, at your own pace. Our lab in Putnam Hall is monitored by a special security system that provides easy but secure access to the lab after hours, while tracking all traffic coming in and out of the lab. All clients are provided the opportunity to use these facilities while they are currently enrolled in any class or training seminar. Please be sure to mention to the instructor that you want to take advantage of this benefit, and we will provide you with access card privileges on a temporary basis.
